We welcome dedicated volunteers and interns to participate in educational, recreational, and supportive care activities at our centre. For enquiries, please write to: pho.pgich@gmail.com
We deeply value contributions that enrich the emotional and developmental needs of children undergoing treatment. Books, educational games, creative art materials, and toys for all age groups support a therapeutic play environment in our ward and playroom.
Our centre runs regular interactive storytelling and engagement sessions, led by volunteers who dedicate their time to reading aloud, narrating culturally relevant tales, and conducting role-play–based activities with children. These sessions foster imagination, resilience, and emotional expression, and have demonstrated benefits in improving psychological well-being, reducing treatment-related distress, and promoting a sense of normalcy during prolonged hospitalisation. Volunteers and interns help transform the hospital environment into a space of creativity, learning, and joy—where children feel heard, supported, and inspired.
Individuals interested in joining these initiatives or contributing books and activity materials are welcome to connect with us at pho.pgich@gmail.com.
Blood and platelet donations are essential for children undergoing chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. Individuals and groups wishing to organise blood donation drives are encouraged to contact us.
Financial support enables timely therapy for children with cancer and thalassemia who are awaiting sponsorship or government approval. Bridge funding ensures that treatment is not delayed.
